SIU School of Medicine - Division of Orthopaedic Surgery
The mission of the SIU School of Medicine’s Division of Orthopaedics is to be a leader in education, research and comprehensive patient care.
The Department of Orthopaedics participates in the overall educational mission of the SIU School of Medicine by contributing orthopaedic and rehabilitation medicine expertise to undergraduate, graduate and medical students and continuing medical education programs.

ThinkFirst
ThinkFirst is the SIU School of Medicine's premiere Head and Spinal Cord Injury Prevention Program. Started in 1990, this educational program educates the public about "the business of taking risks." Formally called "Risky Business", the Think First program is a product of many people within the SIU School of Medicine who have worked together to make community education possible.
